Young Women

KCB has many programmes and activities suitable for young women, both traditional and untraditional, but all focusing on confidence building, awareness and social skills.
These activities include Female Fitness, Girls Group, Young women’s Outreach, Non-contact boxing, Cooking and Fashion Design Project as well as many other suitable projects and activities provided by KCB.

The KCB Youth Project aims to provide programmes of activities that meet young people’s needs and priorities, and offer quality support which will help them to achieve and progress in life.
The KCB Youth Team is indebted to all its funders for supporting the diverse activities available for the benefit of young people. We have achieved an exceptional outcome in this area.

Events

KCB is involved in the organisation of the Camden Bangladesh Mela each summer.
This is a great mix of music, dance & drama, together with lots of activities including arts & crafts, food & drinks, stalls, displays and funfair rides.

KCB is also involved in the running of the King’s Cross County Show.

With members working in key areas of the community to bring assistance and encouragement. With our team members focusing on programmes for youth outreach, working with children and families, older people and ethenic minorities.

Mission

Our aim is to improve the quality of life of local residents through the active involvement of people living in the King’s Cross and Brunswick area of the London Borough of Camden.


We aim to do this without making any distinction on the grounds of sex, sexual orientation and race, or of political, religious or other opinions.
